Environmental Certification

Tosei REIT is proactively engaged in obtaining external evaluations and certifications to promote its ESG initiatives.

Target

Environmental Certifications Acquisition ratio of environmental certification is 50% on a total floor space
basis by 2030, of which, the ratio of eligible green assets is 50%.
  • Eligible green assets refer to assets satisfying the requirements of green buildings described here.

Acquisition Status of Environmental Certifications

DBJ Green Building Certification
DBJ Green Building Certification Program was launched by Development Bank of Japan Inc. in April 2011 for the purpose of supporting properties with proper environmental and social awareness.
The program evaluates, certifies and supports properties sought by society and the economy. It performs comprehensive assessment of properties while evaluating various factors ranging from properties' environmental features to owners' communication with stakeholders such as disaster prevention and proper care for surrounding communities, and the evaluation is indicated at five levels (★★★★★ to ★).

BELS
The Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System is based on the "Evaluation Guidelines for Energy Conservation Performance Indication for Nonresidential Buildings (2013)" established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism., It is an evaluation and indication of energy conservation performance, etc. carried out by a third-party organization for all buildings, whether new or existing, and the evaluation is indicated at five levels (★★★★★ to ★).
